Overseas Travel Insurance

UTS has a corporate travel insurance policy (no. 2200032824) which automatically covers staff, students and authorised persons (including Insearch staff/students) whilst travelling overseas on approved business or academic activity.

If a personalised insurance certificate is required to obtain visa or make a claim please contact Insurance Officer.

It should be noted that insurance companies retain a broad right to exclude coverage based on the foreseeability of the facts of a situation (e.g. the foreseeability of terrorism in an area of high terrorist activity). This right can be exercised retrospectively.
